Locals planning a day out at Rockhampton Zoo will have to wait until Thursday.
The local attraction is closed on Wednesday, so essential grounds maintenance can be carried out.
Zoo staff will still attend today to hang out and care for the animals.

Rockhampton Zoo will reopen to visitors from 10am on Thursday.
Rockhampton Regional Council has apologised for any inconveniences the closure may have caused.
