Man wanted over assault on woman

Investigations are underway after an unknown man assaulted a woman in Rockhampton CBD.

Shortly after 3am on February 15, the man approached a woman on Quay Street before assaulting her, leaving her with minor injuries.

The offender is described as a man in his 30s of Pacific Islander appearance, with short black hair and tattoos on both upper arms, and seen wearing dark-coloured board shorts and a dark-coloured t-shirt.

Anyone who recognises the man (pictured below) or has relevant information or vision from between 2am and 4am around Quay Street between Derby and William Streets, is urged to contact Police.
