Police are appealing for witnesses to a crash between Rockhampton and Yeppoon.
Around 8am on May 12, a white Nissan Navara crashed into a road sign along Yeppoon Road between Access 7 and Capricorn Road near Limestone Creek.
The 29-year-old man behind the wheel was taken to hospital with minor injuries, but has since been charged with eight offences.
They include one count each of driving unlicenced, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving an uninsured vehicle, using vehicle for which a number plate attached given granted for another vehicle, driving U.I.L., unlawful possession of weapon (rifle), authority required to possess explosives (ammunition), and receiving tainted property.
He is due to reappear before Rockhampton Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Any witnesses or anyone with relevant information or vision of the incident is urged to come forward.
