Coles and The Reject Shop Issue Urgent Warnings
Coles and The Reject Shop have recalled two Halloween products due to serious safety risks. The ACCC warns these items could cause choking, internal burns, or even death.
The Reject Shop Candle Risk
The Reject Shop’s 2-wick novelty Halloween candle, sold between September 2 and October 8, may catch fire. The candle’s wicks are too close to the edge, which can cause the container to crack from heat and ignite.

Coles Bouncing Ball Danger
Coles’ LED light-up Halloween bouncing balls contain button batteries but lack proper safety warnings. If swallowed, button batteries can cause choking, internal burns, or death within two hours.
