A woman has suffered burns after accidentally setting herself on fire at a Yeppoon home.
According to a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson, around 10pm Thursday the woman in her 40s poured methylated spirits on her leg to remove what she thought was a tick.
Somehow the flammable liquid has caught fire, leaving the woman with burns to her leg.

Paramedics have taken her to Capricorn Coast Hospital in a stable condition.
