Property crime crackdown sees eight arrests in Biloela

Eight people have been charged with 45 offences following investigations into property crime offences committed at Biloela.

The two-day operation saw police execute eight search warrants on March 3 and 4.

It will be alleged several people were involved in multiple properties and vehicles being broken into and property stolen between February 23 and 28.

A 14-year-old Biloela boy has been arrested and charged with one count each of enter premises and commit indictable offence by break, attempted enter dwelling with intent in company, attempted enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence, and face masked, blackened or disguised with intent commit indictable offence.

He is due to appear before Biloela Childrens Court on April 14.

Police also arrested 16-year-old Biloela boy.

He has been charged with one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and was due to appear before Rockhampton Childrens Court on March 10.

An 18-year-old Biloela man has been arrested and charged with four counts of attempted enter dwelling with intent, three counts each of enter premises and commit indictable offence, enter premises with intent, and attempted enter premises with intent, two counts of trespass, and one count each of enter dwelling and commit, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, and breach of bail condition.

The 18-year-old man has been remanded in custody and is due to reappear before Rockhampton Magistrates Court on March 31.

An 11-year-old Biloela boy has also been arrested and will face Biloela Childrens Court on April 14, charged with one count each of enter premises and commit, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, attempted enter dwelling with intent, trespass, and attempted enter premises with intent.
