A man has been charged with 18 domestic violence offences, including rape and assault, following an incident in Gladstone.
It will be alleged around 12pm on July 12, a woman was threatened while being physically and sexually assaulted by a man known to her in multiple locations across Gladstone.
The woman reported the incident to police, and the man was arrested a short time later.
Police are now keen to speak to anyone who may have spoken to the man or the woman travelling in a white Toyota Landcruiser sometime between 12pm and 5pm on July 12, between Gladstone and Calliope to come forward.
A 36-year-old Bluewater man has been charged with ten domestic violence offences, including rape, sexual assaults, common assault, deprivation of liberty, assaults occasioning bodily harm, serious assault of a police officer, possessing dangerous drugs, and threatening violence.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to reappear before Gladstone Magistrates Court on September 1.
