A man has died in hospital following a workplace incident at Park Avenue.
Around 11.40am yesterday, a 68-year-old Yeppoon man became trapped in machinery at a worksite on Knight Street.
He was eventually freed and taken to Rockhampton Hospital in a critical condition with significant head injuries, but later died.

A Workplace Health and Safety Queensland investigation has been launched.
It’s the fourth serious workplace incident in Central Queensland in the past 14 days and it’s the second fatal incident.
