A man has now been charged with murder following a fatal stabbing at Lammermoor near Yeppoon.
The 36-year-old man is accused of stabbing a 27-year-old man at a Maida Street address, around 8.30am Friday, August 22.
Emergency services rendered first aid to the victim, however he died at the scene a short time later.

A crime scene was declared and investigations led to the 36-year-old’s arrest in Gladstone.
He has been charged with murder and is due to face the Rockhampton Magistrates Court today.
