An alleged assault in Callemondah is under investigation.
Around 6.50pm on March 15, a 64-year-old local Clinton man was driving westbound along Red Rover Road in a white Toyota Hilux dual cab before an oncoming vehicle forced him to pull over.
The other vehicle, described as a white dual cab utility with additional spotlights on the front and a LED bar on top, then preformed a U-turn and parked behind the Toyota.
A man, described as Caucasian, approximately 175cm tall, proportionate build and wearing a cap, left the utility and approached the 64-year-old man before assaulting him multiple times and getting back in the vehicle and driving away in an eastbound direction.
The victim suffered minor injuries.
Police are appealing to anyone with information, including possible witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision of the area around that time, to come forward.
