A man has been charged over an alleged property crime spree in the Gladstone area.
Over the past month, the 35-year-old is accused of stealing from multiple businesses and homes, break ins, wilful damage, trespassing and stealing a vehicle.
It began on July 1, when the man allegedly attended an address on Wilga Street, Kin Kora, entering a vehicle and a laundry area before stealing a number of items including a set of air pods and clothing.
Police say on July 5, the man stole alcohol from a business on Gladstone Benaraby Road, Toolooa, beofre damaging a display board and destroying a number of cleaning tools at a business on Anderson Street, Clinton on July 14.
It will be further alleged at approximately 6am on July 24, the man entered a dwelling on Olsen Avenue, Kin Kora, stealing a number of cards, an amount of cash, and keys, before stealing a silver GWM utility.
He is then accused of using the stolen credit card to purchase items from a business on Dixon Drive, Kirkwood that same day.
It will be further alleged at approximately 7.20am on the same date, the man attended a business on Dixon Drive, Kirkwood, purchasing a number of items using a stolen credit card.
Police attended an address on Awoonga Dam Road in Benaraby later that day following reports of trespassing and located the 35-year-old man and stolen GMW utility.
While searching the man, police allegedly located a clip seal bag containing an amount of methylamphetamine.
The 35-year-old man from Gladstone Central was charged with two counts each of enter premises and commit indictable offence and failing to appear, three counts of stealing, and one count each of enter dwelling and commit, enter dwelling with intent, unlawful use of motor vehicle, fraud, possessing dangerous drugs, and driving unlicensed.
He has been remanded in custody and due to reappear before Gladstone Magistrates Court on 13 August.
Police are aware of social media posts with CCTV of offences occurring in the Clinton area around the same time and are urging members of the public to report these offences.
