A large area at a landfill in Berserker has gone up in flames.
Three fire crews were called to the scene on Lakes Creek Road, at around 2.00am on Sunday.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency spokesperson says the fire consumed an area of approximately 50 metres by 20 metres.

It’s believed the crews had the blaze under control by 3.00am.
There was a significant amount of smoke reported in surrounding areas, including Berserker and Koongal.
