Fifteen teenagers have been arrested in the Capricornia District, as part of police operation Yankee Forge which aims to reduce property crime.
It’s alleged a group of teenage boys from Biloela attended a Grevillea Street address around 11.55pm on March 15 and stole a red Mitsubishi Triton.
The following day the stolen vehicle was located around 5.40am following a traffic crash on Fitzroy Development Road, Coomoo.
Four teenage boys sustained minor physical injuries and were transported to Woorabinda Hospital.
Four boys aged 11, 13, 14 and 16, were each charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle offences and appeared before Rockhampton Childrens Court on March 17.
In a separate incident on March 15, it will be alleged a group of teenagers entered a Farnborough Road address in Yeppoon through an unlocked front door.
Around 8.20pm, the group allegedly stole the keys to a white Mazda and fled the scene in the vehicle.
Two boys aged 16 from Mount Morgan and Berserker, a 15-year-old Gracemere girl, and 17-year-old Woorabinda boy were each charged with one count of enter dwelling and commit.
All appeared before Rockhampton Childrens Court on 16 March.
Investigations are ongoing.
