A staggering amount of drink drivers have been caught in Central Queensland in the past week.
Weekly road stats for the Capricornia Police District have revealed that 26 drink drivers were caught, including six high range readings.
The readings included, 0.201% on Sunvalley Road at Sun Valley, 0.186% on the Dawson Highway at Biloela, 0.174% on Queen Street at Yeppoon, 0.161% on McGhee Crescent at Agnes Water, 0.158% on Yaamba Road at Parkhurst, and 0.151% on Eden Street at South Gladstone.
Nearly 300 people were also nabbed exceeding the speed limit, including three high speeding offences.
One driver was recorded going 155km/h in a 100 zone at Midgee, another was clocked going 50km/h over the speed limit on the Bruce Highway at Bororen, and a third was caught doing 104km/h in a 60 zone at Park Avenue.
The region also saw 14 crashes result in injuries and two fatal crashes in the past week.
