Police are appealing for help from the public to find a man who can assist with investigations into a Berserker assault.
On August 16, it’s alleged an off duty paramedic was loading groceries into his car at Musgrave Street, when he saw a fight break out between two men.
The off duty paramedic went to the aid of one man, to see if he needed medical assistance, when the other man allegedly approached him and punched him in the head, causing him to fall to the ground.
The victim drove himself to Rockhampton Hospital where he was treated for a laceration to his head, a shoulder injury, bruising and swelling.
The man (depicted in the CCTV) is described as tanned in appearance, around 185cm tall, aged in his 20s or 30s, wearing a black cap, white shirt, black shorts and a man bag across his shoulder.
Police are also asking the second man involved in the altercation to come forward.
Anyone who recognises the man, or who has any information that could help investigations, is urged to contact police.
