A remarkable humpback whale encounter has been captured on film off the coast of 1770.
It was filmed by Hudson Meek while diving with Dive Spear and Sport 1770 at Llewellyn Reef, and shows eight male humpback whales engaged in a “heat run”.

A heat run happens when a when a female humpback whale signals her readiness to mate, attracting the attention of several males.
The males will then chase her, vying for her attention.
