The 10th Capricorn Film Festival is Central Queensland’s premiere film event containing Feature, Documentary & short film premieres, Visual Art, Masterclasses & Networking. 

The 2026 Capricorn Film Festival is going to be the biggest film event of the year in Central Queensland.

This Festival is a unique cultural platform where latest achievements in cinema are viewed, discussed and debated for both their narrative and technical merits by audiences of cinema lovers.

This upcoming year we are screening a selection of feature films, short films and documentaries from around around the world alongside multiple other art presentations and community interactive experiences for youth and tourists.

It takes a community to make a event, and an even larger community to sustain and support the independent spirit we keep alive at #capfilmfest.
