ANZAC Day 2026 will be commemorated across the Rockhampton region on Saturday 25 April 2026, with services and marches held from early morning through to late afternoon. Dawn services will take place at multiple locations including Rockhampton, Alton Downs, Bouldercombe, Gracemere, Marmor and Mount Morgan, alongside community marches and memorial services. The Rockhampton Dawn Service will commence at 4.27am at the Cenotaph in the Botanic Gardens, followed by the official Rockhampton March later in the morning. Additional services, gunfire breakfasts and community gatherings will be held throughout surrounding towns, allowing locals to pay their respects close to home. Several related events will also take place on surrounding dates, including services at Stenhouse Park and special commemorations at the CQ Military Museum. Community members are encouraged to attend a local service and take part in remembering the service and sacrifice of Australia’s and New Zealand’s ANZACs.
