Investigations are underway into the cause of fire that destroyed a boat in the middle of the Pioneer River.
Two fire crews raced to the River Street boat ramp, arriving at around 11:30pm on Thursday, to find a yacht engulfed in flame.
It was about 100m offshore and fire fighters were unable to reach the blaze to help extinguish it.

They left the scene in the hands of police and the Volunteer Marine Rescue.
Police have confirmed there have been no reported injuries, while the cause is being investigated.
