Coldplay Defends the Crowd Camera Despite CEO Debacle

Yeah Chris has done nothing wrong here.

Earlier this year former Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and former Astronomer HR Chief attended a Coldplay concert. The pair had been engaged in a secret affair which was revealed when the kiss cam at the concert turned to them and they both turned away in distress. The footage went viral, even Coldplay front man in the video says “oh what? Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy”. It was the first one Chris, but funnily enough if they had acted normally probably nothing would’ve come from it too publicly.

Recently though the kiss cam caught some backlash, mostly from the former Astronomers employees, expressing that their privacy had been invaded. Chris Martin has since this show been issuing warnings to people before the jumbotron screen turns on and the camera turns to the crowd. But recently Martin has ever spoken about it in an interview in which he said

“We’ve been doing this for a long time, and it is only recently that it became a … yeah,… Life throws you lemons and you’ve got to make lemonade. So, we are going to keep doing it because we are going to meet some of you… This is called a jumbotron, and we’ve done this for a long, long time. We pick people out to say hello. And sometimes they turn out to become an internationally massive scandal, sure,… But most of the time we’re just trying to say hello to some f—ing people, that’s all!”
