A man has been charged after allegedly shooting another man in the foot in public in Sydney's southwest.

The 41-year-old allegedly shot the 44-year-old victim in the foot during an argument on McBurney Road in Cabramatta on December 19.

He was pulled over in his Porsche, with a search of the car allegedly uncovering a gun, ammunition, drugs and cash.

He was charged with offences including drug supply, dealing with proceeds of crime and multiple weapons offences including discharging a firearm with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

He'll appear at Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday.
