A 44-year-old woman is facing a murder charge after a man was allegedly deliberately struck by a car and pinned against a brick wall in innerwest Sydney.
The man, 31, died at the scene of the incident in the carpark of a unit complex on Hill Road at Wentworth Point around 8.30pm on Saturday.
Police allege the pair, who knew each other, were involved in an argument before the woman got into the Toyota Kluger and deliberately struck the man.
The woman, from Quakers Hill, was arrested and taken to Concord Hospital with a fractured wrist.
She was refused bail and was due to appear before Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday on a charge of murder.
In a separate incident, a man died and two others were seriously injured in a car crash in northeast NSW on Sunday at 12.30am.
The Mitsubishi Mirage lost control and rolled on a road at Gunnedah.
Two male passengers, both aged 23, climbed out of the car but the 28-year-old driver died at the scene.
One passenger was taken to Gunnedah Hospital before being airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a serious condition.
The other was taken to Tamworth Base Hospital in a stable condition.
