Man's body found in Vic creek

A man's body has been found in a creek in regional Victoria with homicide squad detectives investigating.

A passer-by found the body in a creek at Darling Street at Sebastopol, near Ballarat on Saturday morning about 10.30am.

"The man is yet to be identified and Homicide Squad detectives are assisting," Victoria Police said in a statement.
