Man injured in vehicle rollover
Two men have escaped serious injury in a single vehicle rollover in Central Queensland.
They were travelling in a vehicle on the Capricorn Highway west of Gogango about 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon - when it left the road and became airborne for 50 meters, before striking the concrete wing of the culvert - then flipping and coming to rest on its roof.
One of the men managed to free himself from the wreckage with minor injuries.
The other remained trapped for a short time before emergency crews helped to free him.
He was treated for a suspected broken arm and internal injuries and flown to Rockhampton hospital by the RACQ Capricorn Rescue in a stable condition.
RACQ Capricorn Rescue says both men are extremely lucky to have escaped serious injury.
