Wet week ahead as wild weather forecast
You might want to pack the umbrella today, with wet weather expected for most of the state.
Storms are forecast from the south-east right up to Central Queensland, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.
Senior Meteorologist Rosa Hoff says they could develop as far north as Rockhampton, and out to Emerald.
"The most likely regions to see some of the bigger storms however is a little bit smaller out towards Biloela, down south to Goondiwindi and then also down past inland parts of the south-east," Ms Hoff says.
The wet weather is expected to stick around in Rockhampton and Gladstone until Friday.
"Definitely follow the advice of QFES and emergency services in regards to any emergencies unfolding," Ms Hoff says.
"Follow the Bureau's pages for any information on warnings as they develop."
