Seven people hospitalised after CQ farming incident

UPDATE: A man in his 20s has died after a harvesting incident at a pineapple farm in Central Queensland.

Police say a report will be prepared for the coroner.

Workplace Health and Safety is investigating.

EARLIER:

A man has been critically injured and six others are in hospital following a farming incident in Central Queensland.

A harvester is reported to have hit power lines on a private property in Bungundarra, north of Yeppoon at 9:23am.

Queensland Ambulance say a man in his 20s was transported to hospital in a critical condition.

Six others were taken to hospital in stable conditions; two men in their 40s, two men in their 20s, a man in his 30s and woman in her 20s.

Queensland Police were also on scene.
