A man has been left in a critical condition after being trampled by a bull in Central Queensland.

A spokesperson for RACQ Capricorn Rescue say they were called to a property south of Comet at 4:25pm Thursday.

"Station hands called emergency services and QAS paramedics arrived to treat the patient," the spokesperson says.

"The patient suffered suspected internal bleeding and head injuries so extensive on scene stabilisation was performed."

The man was in a critical but stable condition, flown to Rockhampton Base Hospital for treatment.
