The next stage of the Bruce Highway upgrades rolls into Central Queensland.

A package of works totalling $43.45 million will target the road between Gin Gin and Miriam Vale.

It includes new overtaking lanes, wide centre lines and intersection upgrades which will support close to 80 jobs.

The investment builds on upgrades already underway either side of the highway, including the 21 million dollar upgrade from the Calliope River to Mount Larcom.
