Patient airlifted following Bruce Highway crash

Paramedics have been called to a couple of crashes in Central Queensland overnight.

A female patient had to be airlifted to Gladstone Hospital following a two-vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway at Colosseum, South of Mirium Vale, at 8:37pm on Monday.

A QAS spokesperson said she was transported in a stable condition, suffering from neck pain.

A male patient declined transport to hospital.

Meanwhile, another person was hurt in two-car collision in Emerald a short time earlier.

Emergency crews were called to Opal Street at 7.50pm.

They took one patient to Emerald Hospital in a stable condition.
