There has been an increase in the number of assaults in Rockhampton, according to local police.
City Patrol Group Inspector Mark Burgess said assault rates are on the rise.
"What we seeing there is an increase in common assault and bodily harm offences," Inspector Burgess said.
"We mainly seeing that around our private residences and private land, that's kind of coming around our parities.
"Some of that will be domestic violence related.
"What we are seeing is some displacement from our licence premises through restricted numbers and restricted trading practices that some of those behaviours are now finding themselves at home and we are getting called to more disturbances."
Meanwhile drug offences have also dropped in Rockhampton from 90 in August to 63 in September.
While traffic and related offences have increased from just 12 in August to 21 in September.
