Aged care home Covid-19 update, Rockhampton

Investigations will continue at a Rockhampton Nursing home after a staff memeber returned a postive Covid-19 test result. 
 
 Queensland's Deputy Premier Stephen Miles and Chief Health Officer Dr Jeannette Young will visit the centre on Monday as part of a special investigation, with management staff to be interviewed.
  
A nurse at the North Rockhampton Nursing Centre continued to work with mild coronavirus symptoms... she has since tested positive for the virus
 
A number of residents have been relocated in an effort to control any potential outbreak
 
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says so far no one has tested positive:
 
"235 staff and residents at the North Rockhampton Nursing Centre have been tested and found to be negative," said Ms Palaszczuk
 
"But honestly we are very relieved with the news we are hearing at the moment." 
 
There have been no further confirmed cases of the virus at the North Rockhampton Nursing Centre, with 235 residents and staff returning negative results.
