Bundaberg Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) detectives have charged a man, seized a large amount of monies, cannabis, scales and a mobile telephone following the execution of a search warrant in New Auckland on Wednesday, November 6.
Officers from both the Bundaberg and Gladstone CIB executed the search warrant at an address located on Llana Court following ongoing investigations into drug related matters.
It will be alleged that during the search of the property, police located cannabis in cry-vac bags, further smaller amounts of cannabis, a mobile telephone, electronic scales and a large sum of monies.
As a result, a 62-year-old New Auckland man has been charged with trafficking dangerous drugs (cannabis), possessing dangerous drugs (over schedule), possessing anything used in the commission of a crime and possessing property suspected of being the proceeds of an offence.
The man will appear in the Gladstone Magistrates Court on January 21, 2020.
