A man has been taken to Gladstone Hospital after a truck carrying hazardous materials flipped at Yarwun.
Police and emergency services rushed to the scene on Gladstone Mount Larcom Road at 12.58pm yesterday.
Closures were in place for several hours between Landing Road outbound from Gladstone and Targinnie Road and Calliope River Road inbound from Mount Larcom.
Police say the chemical hazard posed a minimal risk and was contained within the truck.
A heavy vehicle recovery unit was deployed to the scene and the road opened up again around 8.00pm.
The man was transported to hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries.
