Dog Squad searches have so far failed to find a prisoner, who escaped custody in Central Queensland.
Police say 23-year-old Barry Bloomfield managed to run off while at Rockhampton Hospital around 9am on Saturday.
He was last seen wearing a green jumper and shorts, with no shoes.
He also had a bandage on his right hand and had removed his handcuffs.
Police immediately launched a search of the area on foot, in vehicles, and with the Dog Squad’s help, but the escapee remains on the run two days later.
Investigations and search efforts remains ongoing.
Police are appealing for anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to urgently come forward.
He is described as First Nations, approximately 176cm tall with a proportionate build, black hair and facial hair, with tattoos on his chest, forearms, hands and left leg.
Anyone who may see the man is urged not to approach him and to immediately call Triple Zero (000).
