A Sun Valley man will face court accused of drink driving, after crashing a car into a light pole at New Auckland.
Police say the incident happened along the Dawson Highway, at around 2.45pm on Saturday May 6.
He allegedly crashed a silver Ford Falcon sedan.
The 27-year-old was taken to Gladstone Hospital to be treated for injuries and to give a further specimen of blood for analysis, after doing a roadside breath test.
He was charged with driving on a suspended licence, while under the influence.
He is set to appear in the Gladstone Magistrates Court on June 13.
