A man in his 30s has been taken to hospital after a vehicle hit a kangaroo at Mount Larcom.
Paramedics came to the scene on the Bruce Highway and Gladstone Mount Larcom Road at 5.30am this morning.
The man was assessed at the scene and then transported to Gladstone Hospital in a stable condition.
