A 30-year-old South Gladstone man has been charged with one count of attempted murder, following the alleged stabbing of another man at Barney Point.
Officers were called to a Brisbane Street property at 11.40pm last Thursday, following reports of an altercation.
Upon arrival they say they found a 30-year-old Barney Point man with multiple stab wounds and lacerations.

He was rushed to Gladstone Hospital in a critical condition before being airlifted to Brisbane for further treatment, where he remains in a stable condition.
Investigations are ongoing.
