His hometown is Duaringa. A small country town 115km west of Rockhampton.
He went to Blackwater State High School, where he was the editor of the school magazine, a school news reporter for the local paper, a regional finalist in a local TV News Reading Competition, and a work experience kid at a TV station! “… and yet I was a really shy and quiet kid, so go figure!”
He stated in radio as a 15 year old volunteer at the local community radio station. “When I got my first taste of radio, I knew that I would be addicted to it for life!”
He has a phobia of frogs – “they are the weirdest, slimiest and most unnatural looking creatures on earth!”
His favourite sport is cricket – but only as a spectator! Fingers crossed, he wants to watch the Aussie’s in action at the GABBA in the next few years!
He is a HUGE fan of the Back to the Future Trilogy – “You built a time machine out of a DeLoreon!?”
