The Leprosy Mission - Annual Dinner 

The Rockhampton auxiliary of The Leprosy Mission is once again holding its annual fund raising dinner on Saturday 6th of September. There will be a special guest and a three course meal ONLY $12 per person!! All proceeds go towards providing assistance to people who suffer from leprosy. The dinner will be held at The Rockhampton Baptist Tabernacle, for bookings please phone 49 331 964 or 49 228 807.

Cent Sale 

Callide United Soccer Club will be holding a Cent Sale on Saturday the 23rd of August at the Biloela Bowls Club starting at 2pm. Admission is $3 with afternoon tea supplied

Gala Garden Party 

The Redeemer School are holding a Gala Garden Party on Sunday the 14th of September. The Gala starts at 1.30pm, tickets are $15 which includes afternoon tea. On the day there will be a fashion parade, live entertainment, lucky door prize, market stalls and a mystery auction. Tannum Sands Kindergarten is holding its Monster Garage & Spring Sale Sunday 31 August at Baade Park(adjacent to the Kindy) Zephyr St, from 9-2pm. Bargains galore-garage sale, delicious bake & plant sales, sausage sizzle, show bags, lucky dips, face painting, raffle draws & midday auction for childrens art work.

The Rockhampton Branch on the Australian Red Cross is holding an Afternoon Tea on Saturday 16th of August at St Mary's Hall in Nobbs Street, Rockhampton commencing at 2pm. Saturday 6th of September 

Prostate Cancer Awareness Ride 

On Saturday, 6th September, the 5th Annual Prostate Cancer Awareness Ride will be held in Gladstone. All types and sizes of motorcycles are welcome. Meet at Lion's Park Gladstone, (next to MacDonalds) at 9:00am to register for a 9:30am departure. The ride will go through Yarwun and along Calliope River Road to Awoonga Dam for a free sausage sizzle. A guest speaker on Mens Health issues will be attending. Beanie Cruise - Port Curtis Rotary Club 

The Port Curtis Rotary club is hosting a Beanie Cruise on Saturday the 30th of August. This will a be a fun evening with novelty give away and lucky door prizes plus a major raffle with return for 2 to Brisbane with accomodation spending money at Myer. Tickets are only $50 and include nibblies, Bonza burgers, delicious desserts, tea and coffee. There will be entertainment on the night and drinks will be sold at reasonable prices. All proceeds are being donated to our community group For The Sight Of Others who are in return supporting the Fred Hollows Foundation.
